Moroccan Style Chicken Kebabs

The most amazingly tasty and healthy homemade chicken kebabs, created using our Marvelwood Tagine Seasoning Mix.

Taking no more than 20 minutes, this is an easy dish to prepare for 4 people.

Ingredients

- 640g of chicken breast mini fillets.

- Two tablespoons of olive oil.

- Half a packet of Marvelwood Tagine Seasoning.

- 150g of sweetcorn.

- Third of a large cucumber, diced.

- Rocket salad.

- 150g fresh peas.

- One peeled and grated carrot.

- 200g of mayonnaise.

- One garlic clove, crushed.

- Half teaspoon of black pepper.

Preparation

Prepare the garlic mayonnaise in advance by folding in one clove of crushed garlic and half a teaspoon of black pepper into the mayonnaise and leave to sit in a fridge for a minimum of 20 minutes. 

Add the chicken breast mini fillets to a bowl work in one tablespoon of olive oil. 

Pour the seasoned chicken into the sizzling hot pan and drizzle one tablespoon of olive oil over the chicken. 

Turn the chicken and cook evenly until golden brown on all sides. Using a spatula, pull apart the chicken fillets into bite size pieces and continue to cook the thoroughly for a minimum of 12 minutes. For a spicier flavour, stir in additional Marvelwood Tagine Seasoning into the cooked chicken. 

Warm up the pitta bread in a toaster and prepare the vegetables into separate bowls. 

Take the garlic mayonnaise out of the fridge and the pitta bread from the toaster and rest both for a moment. Place the sizzling hot season chicken into a bowl and add additional seasoning. 

Open only one side of the pitta bread along the seam using kitchen scissors and serve according to your preference.
